**WHAT IS DIAMOND PAINTING?**
Diamond painting (also known as crystal art) is the process of applying tiny resin rhinestones (known as "diamonds") to a pre-printed design – usually on an adhesive board – to create sparkling, vibrant and uplifting pieces of mosaic-style art. There's no sticky glue to deal with or mess involved as the diamonds stick directly to the surface you're embellishing.
It's a fantastic therapeutic hobby that promotes mindfulness and relaxation, as well as being fun and a great way to develop art skills. Placing the diamonds in the correct position is a calming and creative way to pass the time and, with each jewel, you'll start to see your artwork come to life.
Some ask, "How do I choose between round or square diamonds? Which is better for me?"
Honestly, with so many unique diamond art kits offered in this shop, the possibilities can feel endless! Depending on your skill level, you may want to choose the option that is easiest for you to use. Round diamonds are easier to work with initially. But, square diamonds can fill out the picture more robustly, by locking edge to edge, even if they do require a bit more effort to place. The choice is up to you because BOTH produce beautiful artwork! 🎀
